M M1524144495Beehive offers a wide variety of activities for children and fosters a routine that gives children the consistency they need at this age. The teachers and carers are devoted to developing a stimulating program of activities and keeping children engaged. From painting, cooking, gardening, music, French classes, ballet lessons to a numeracy and literacy program that prepares children for their next adventure at school. My daughter started kindergarten this year and I can see the benefits of the Beehive program.
The program isn't just about developing their skills but also fostering positive behaviours and emotions. Children learn how to respect others and be patient towards others, and themselves. Teachers often encourage parents to come in and talk to the children about their traditions, which develops children’s awareness about other cultures and customs. Beehive teachers know every family well and are keen to assist their child’s individual needs.
Both of my children have been very keen to go to Beehive everyday and I have always been confident they are being looked after very well, learn a lot and have a great time.

The educators are skilled teachers, but they are also highly compassionate and caring, and they form strong bonds with the children. The app that the centre uses means that you have a constant insight into your child's day, with up to 100 photos being posted per day, along with a narrative explaining what your kids are up to and how that is helping them both developmentally and socially.
The staff all know our family well, as well as our extended family who often take part in the Mothers day/Fathers day, Easter and Christmas events, and I have made many long lasting friendships with other Beehive parents.
Having now started at school my eldest child is a strong reader, with good social skills and has adapted extremely well to the transition with the solid foundation that Beehive has given her. I am confident that when my youngest graduates to big school she will be armed with the same set of skills. I would highly recommend St Ives Beehive to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

Our dedicated team at the St Ives Link Rd campus has a long history and strong connection with the St Ives community. Our purpose-built two-level Campus is located at 23-25 Link Road, St Ives, on the corner of Link Road and Mona Vale Road, right next to both Masada College and Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School. We have a five-minute street parking bay available for families to use during drop off and pick up times. We are a short walk from a bus stop, providing transport to and from the city and the surrounding suburbs. Gordon train station is a 15-minute bus ride away.
Families at our St Ives Link Rd campus enjoy –
