I am very happy with Only About Children Highpoint. All the staff members are very friendly and nice. The care given is very good. My baby boys first days were made really easy. They are giving a really good attention on him to make him feel settled, safe and loved. Which makes us feel comfortable as parents because leaving the baby is not easy. This is a great relief in mind, knowing the baby is given a good care. Also the activities done throughout the day. It is going to be a great help for the development of the baby. And the food is amazing too. Healthy meals are provided. I am very happy about everything and very happy we decided to pick OAC Highpoint as our baby’s ChildCare. I will recommend them to any parent without a doubt with high recommendations.

We love OAC HighPoint! We started attending this centre when our eldest was just 10 months old and have had an incredible journey with them, 2 additional kids later. They provide thorough daily learning and routine updates, have a fabulous staff retention record, and their equipment and cleanliness are top tier. Their on-site chef puts so much pride and effort into her creations, our kids are now so adventurous with their food choices. OAC educators clearly love what they do and it’s evident as soon as you walk through the doors how passionate they are about early childhood education. Not only are our children in the safest of hands, they treat us like family with every interaction - an important factor when handing over your most precious little people for the day. OAC HighPoint are a superior childcare centre.

Updated review - My little ones both started when they were 6 months old in the nursery, and continued through to Kinder. They both love attending and the staff take wonderful care of them. I feel comfortable knowing that they are so well looked after each day. OAC have a very interactive curriculum and both my kids have developed fantastic social skills from attending. The food is also amazing! I would recommend OAC Highpoint to anyone who wants trustworthy carers who pay attention to each child’s individual needs.

OAC Highpoint has been a great Childcare Centre for my children! Both kids started in Nursery room and have transitioned wonderfully in each room with my youngest currently in the Toddler room (Sara as the Team Leader) and my eldest in Kinder (Jennifer as the teacher). It's a spotless centre with Educators that are engaging, plenty of activities and also fun excursions for our kids to learn and develop. In addition, their Head Chef Maggie prepares the most amazing dishes! Highly recommend! A+

We have been lucky to be part of the Only About Children Highpoint Campus for two years now, with our two children attending. We looked around multiple other Childcare centres in the area before enrolling here, and honesty nothing could compare after we visited OAC for the first time. The facilities are amazing, spotless and the team really take pride in the campus.Whilst childcare drop offs can sometimes be daunting, I feel completely at ease knowing the kids are going to have an amazing day. The educators are absolutely wonderful at what they do, every single employee greets the children as soon as stepping into the door and the highlight of the day is definitely receiving the regular updates and photos – always brings a smile to my face.Well done and thank you OAC Highpoint team!

Fantastic experience was apprehensive about sending my little one to daycare but all the educators have been amazing. They picked up on issues I didn’t realise and have really worked with him to help him catch up. He is thriving!

My son is welcomed by name by EVERY single educator at OAC Highpoint displaying that they have taken the time to know him and make sure he and I feel comfortable. The director, AD and Educators in his room has shown an enormous amount of support and communication during the transition. OAC Highpoint has a family feel where the educators go above and beyond for both your child and you as a parent.

My son has always struggled with daycare and is very attached to us but he really enjoys his time here. The directer Rachel is extremely lovely and welcoming, she and the carers really care about the children and try to accomodate to all their needs. I know he is in good hands at OAC at the high point campus which eases all my worries.

My daughter has built alot of friendships, confidence and identity here at oac highpoint. The educators all are all caring, they all greet and make you feel welcome and take all your concerns seriously and actually do something about it to fix it. My daughter looks forward to attending everytime and I know I made the right choice taking her there. Very clean, organised and professional. Rachel & Jennifer. P are both lovely and super friendly.

Rachel , the room leaders and co. do a fantastic job at the Highpoint OAC campus. I couldn't speak highly enough of them, they're always seemingly engaged and positive which speaks highly of the environment that has been built at Highpoint. My son has been attending Highpoint for the last 18 months and loves it there (when his not having one of his emotional days). Having said that, whether his happy or coming in full of emotion the team do a fantastic job supporting him. I've seen an abundant of progress with his development and at times surprises me with the things he has learnt from there.

Great childcare! I love it! Very friendly staff and tidy environment! OAC is my little one’s first childcare since her 18 months, unfortunately we moved otherwise OAC would be her only childcare before school.

My wife and I toured numerous centers across Ascot Vale, Maribyrnong and Essendon. We made the decision on placing the care of our 1 year old son with OAC Highpoint because of a few factors:- Staff are friendly and showed genuine care- Location and proximity to home and work/ease of parking- Center was clean and inviting with sufficient activities- Balance of structured and unstructured curriculumIt's been approximately 6 months now and our highlights would be:- Staff are always smiling and composed- Our now 19 months old is comfortable and happy to go "school" when we ask him in the morning- Amazing updates via Story Park app (Daily summary and photos)- Our son has clearly developed his social confidence and learnt many new songs and skills. (yes, he wanted to feed himself with a fork and spoon at home, loves dancing and singing now)We highly recommend OAC Highpoint - through conversations with our friends who have placed their kids elsewhere, the updates, care and service offerings we receive is outstanding. A big thank you to Campus Director Rachel (who always greets our son/us with a beaming smile) and all the carers that somehow manage to know every childs name. Jay, Chantell, Jesse and Ange - thanks for playing such a big part in our lives :)

Our daughter has been attending OAC Highpoint since she was 2yo, when we had to relocate her due to work reasons, from another centre that she was settled in. At the time we were worried about how she'd transition from fulltime care at one centre to another but from the beginning, the staff and management have been fantastic. She is now 4yo, in their kinder program and thriving. She has moved through the rooms and we can honestly say that all the Educators there are worth their weight in gold!Nothing challenges a community like a pandemic, and the OAC team navigated us through 2020 so very well, communicating any updates in processes regularly and offering "OAC at Home" activities aligned to the EYLF.With our child in fulltime care, our priority is that she can grow and develop in a safe environment, feel connected to her peers & educators and is happy. As a family of mixed cultures, it is also important to us that our child is able to learn about other cultures and First Nations people. OAC Highpoint absolutely meets our expectations and we're appreciative of both management, staff and Ang who prepares delicious, nutritious lunches that my fussy child actually eats. One last observation, I believe OAC Highpoint also value their staff, over the last few years, we've seen younger educators being provided with professional development opportunities to help them grow in their careers which I think benefits not just them but all the kids in their care now and in the future. Thanks OAC Highpoint team!

My daughter started at OAC Highpoint when she was 10 months old. She is an anxious child and really struggled to settle into the new setting of not being carried by mum all day long! The team at OAC went above and beyond to make her comfortable and settle her as much as possible. I was incredibly happy with the communication, daily Storypark posts and lots of photos eased my own separation anxiety. When my second son was born, we pulled my daughter out of care for the year. When it was time for them both to go back to childcare I tried a different centre for 6 months. What a mistake! OAC was amazing in comparison. I immediately changed them both back to OAC as soon as I could get them a spot. Both have settled in well and I honestly cannot fault anything. Every single educator knows my children and greets them happily. Centre Manager Rachel has addressed every question and concern I have had with care and in a timely manner. The communication with parents is outstanding. Each child is given a primary carer who works directly with the child to make sure they are happy, comfortable and meeting educational goals. The centre itself is full of fun and joy. I am jealous of the food the kids get to eat all day! Super happy with this centre! Be sure to add it to your list of places to tour!

Raj Kaur

Campus Director

Raj has 25 years working in Early Childhood Education. She can speak Hindi and Punjabi, play Sitar and is trained as an Indian classical singer.

“My philosophy is to encourage children to be proud of who they are, achieving their fullest potential in interpersonal relationships, work, and play. We as responsible adults in children’s lives must provide children with opportunities to make choices and decisions to take calculative risks in a safe environment that we prepare for them. This develops a feeling of self-worth, independence, autonomy, and self-discipline. My goal for adults is to understand how capable children are and we must act as role model and not just the caretakers who does everything for them. To set them up for success let them try and never correct them to activate the desire to learn with freedom to fail and not fear of fail.”

For Highpoint Campus Raj aims to work with her team to create ‘A Home away from home’ for children in our care. She strives to achieve this by empowering the team at Highpoint and applying the same philosophy of “We are all capable and we can all do it.”
