Voices of Children

As part of a global project initiated by the University of Wollongong, the Voices of Children project encourages young artists from Only About Children Campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane to submit their artwork. This artwork will be prominently featured in both a virtual gallery exhibition and a physical gallery at the Foundation of the Hellenic World in Athens, Greece.
This exciting event is scheduled to coincide with the 2023 Bright Start International conference. An online gallery will proudly display 300 artworks alongside heartfelt messages from the participating children.
Five campuses have fully embraced the program, with educators closely collaborating with preschool and kindergarten children. Together, they explore and create artwork that revolves around this year’s theme: “Making Children’s Voices Heard.”
Right brain creativity is at the heart of our Grow Curriculum. We know its integral to a child’s learning and development. Art gives children the opportunity to express themselves both independently and as a group. It helps children express their response to the world around them.
