Three Northern Beaches Campuses Join Forces For ‘Clean Up Australia’ Day

Armed with tiny buckets and gloves, the children and their families worked together to clean up Mona Vale Beach while learning about the importance of caring for our environment.
The Beach Clean event is part of our commitment to sustainability, which is embedded in our Grow Curriculum. Toddlers and Preschoolers have been exploring the impacts of plastic, toxic waste and pollution on our marine life through a variety of age-based learning activities.
Claudinne Berta Booth, Campus Director at Mona Vale says “Clean Up Australia Day is a powerful reminder that small actions can lead to big impacts. By joining our local community, we’re teaching the children the importance of caring for the environment, especially Mona Vale Beach. They understand that keeping the beach clean is essential for both people and wildlife. It’s this sense of community that makes our campus feel like a village, where our children are nurtured to become future citizens who care for the world around them.”
