OAC Enmore Adventures To The Local Community Garden

As always, we kick off our adventures by greeting the chickens and checking on our OAC Enmore garden plot—tending to it when needed or taking a nature walk to learn more. Recently, the children were especially fascinated by the tomatoes and chilies, spending time pondering why some fall to the ground while others remain on the vine. This naturally steered us toward exploring the ‘living things’ part of our STEM interests.
The children enjoyed pointing out natural beauties that caught their eye, such as a tiny yellow lady bug on a flower, or beads of rain water glistening on large leaves. We decided to photograph these little treasures so the children could create artworks inspired by the gardens when back at the campus.
Stay tuned to learn more about our excursions at OAC Enmore.
