At Only About Children, the health, safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is our highest priority and we continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our operations. Our policies relating to all health & safety practices have been informed by the relevant state and federal health regulatory bodies, respective early childhood education and care departments, and the Department of Education.

We are dedicated to safeguarding children from abuse, neglect and harm and, fostering an environment of cultural safety where every child, family, and team member feels valued, respected, and included.
We are committed to ensuring children gain a strong sense of wellbeing, optimism and confidence so they have the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes to thrive.
This is more than just meeting compliance responsibilities. Across all our campuses and support teams, we amplify and promote the voice and rights of children through the prevention, identification and response to child abuse, neglect and harm. We are all responsible in prioritising the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care. What this means is:
- We will respond to children’s concerns truthfully and help them feel valued and heard
- We actively listen to and empower children
- We have zero-tolerance for child abuse or any form of neglect
- We take all allegations and concerns seriously and respond in line with our policies and procedures and Child Protection Law and National Regulations.
