My son has been going to OAC Concord since he was 14 months old. We were looking at places since he was 7 months old, and we saw at least 6 other centers around the area. When we walked into this place my husband and I was so sure that this was IT. Everything felt right, the vibe was always positive, educators are all very professional, genuinely care about the kids, I mean ALL THE TIME, and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. Chef Juno custom made cakes for the kids’ birthdays. My son got a garbage truck cake on his birthday and it made his whole entire week.Day in day out, I have never had a bad moment with them, my son comes home happy and well taken care of. Always engaged the kids with fun educational activities. They have so many educators that has been there over 10 years and we just celebrated Jason 20th anniversary at OAC Concord. For someone who doesn’t have a big family to rely on, OAC Concord has made us feel like we have an extended family.

My daughter started at OAC Concord about 2 months ago and I can say I’m very happy with them. Their educators are professional and very caring. My daughter was settled in within 2 weeks and she is very happy to go to childcare. She have so much fun there and they are always presenting them with new activities to keep them interested. Also, my picky eat eats up all the food at childcare! I need to steal their chef Juno and get him to cook for her 🤣 Anyways, the fact that it take me 20 to 30 mins to drive her to OAC is a testament to how much I like this place. Please keep up the good work 🙏

My son used to be enrolled next door (won't mention their name) and was very upset that they did not take care of him or engaged him in any activity as if he is not part of the group. I could go on and make a list of not so happy memories of my son's time in that day care. When we finally decided to pull him out of that day care, a friend recommended us to OAC and when we went for the induction. Ally gave me and my wife the assurance that it will be different in OAC. They have dedicated people who has been in the centre for more than 10 years. On my son's first day at OAC, he was not keen at first and refused to get in the car, he must have thought that he was going to the same day care but when we drove past his old day care, he realised we were going somewhere else.On his first day, the guys at OAC made him feel welcome and on his first few weeks, Kristy would play the sesame street theme song (my son's favorite show) and he would calm down and settle. The little things they do to help your child goes a long way. They helped him in a lot of ways and still do now. My wife and I are really happy to have found this day care and would highly recommend OAC concord to any parent.

We are very grateful for the care provided by OAC Concord. The staff are very attentive, and give us great feedback that we can integrate at home. We feel confident at drop-off and our daughter is always happy at pick-up. The “vibe” at OAC is always happy.

Our son is enjoying the nursery room and the educators and staff have been wonderful. The centre has a good program, healthy fresh meals available and provides daily updates for parents via the Storypark app.

Prapti Rawatt Sedhain

Campus Director

Prapti holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Care (Birth – 5 years) and speaks Nepalese, Hindi and English. She believes  that the first 5 years in a child’s life is the most crucial period where they develop their sense of  identity and engage in a lot of open-ended learning experiences. As an early childhood teacher she wants to nurture and shape children’s curiosity into learning experiences through their  pedagogical practice but also allow these experiences to become a part of  children’s life.

“A teacher-child relationship as a two-way process for sharing knowledge, experiences  and affection. Children teach some of the most valuable lessons of lives, through their  innocence, curiosity and their kindness. I believe that a child paves their  own path towards development, leading their interests, while the educators and their peers  scaffold their learning and help them achieve the outcomes. Throughout their lives, children  develop lots of social relationships with the people and the environment around them and  learn from them. Rather than considering a child as an empty vessel, I believe that they are  full of potential and capable of undergoing different challenges, with the help of educators  and peers.”
